The Gloriant
Background
The manifestation of the Light's terrible majesty. Appearing as a winged humanoid composed of filaments of Light the Gloriant is a rarely invoked aspect of the Light; for its very presence burns away physical things. Centuries ago it was called upon during the Naming and Binding war, when the Exalted Church went to war against the Namers. More recently it was briefly imprisoned by cultists of the Master Complete who sought to use the Light's intrinsic unity to bring about their God.
Recent History
- Summoned by the exalted church and then bound within a glass prism by Cultists of the Master Complete. Freed shortly afterwards by a party of adventurers. (Trip the Light Fantastic, 23/10/10)
