Background
As long as there have been noble lines blessed by the Vitriarchs, there have been the guards needed to protect them. Guards who believed wholeheartedly in the Lords of Madness, but who had a firmer grip on reality so that their master's excesses could be kept under control. Thomas is one of the latest in a long (and somewhat shortlived) line of bodyguards and servants, and serves the members of the Port of Glass embassy fervently. For the time being, however, the job is slow enough to allow him time off, adventuring to hone his skills and learn more of the world.
