The Emperor of the Unbound is the ruler of the Empire of the Unbound. He is a mysterious figure so far little encountered by adventurers from the White City, but he is known to be a powerful Name and Chain Sorcerer, and has some association with the Black Flame. He professes to be an enemy of the Bound Ones, and claims to have personally bound Tears as Fire at the end of the Binding War.
